Rugby Union News: Ospreys Extend Contract for Rising Star Morgan Morse
In a significant move, the Ospreys have secured the services of their young rising star Morgan Morse, who has signed a new contract with the club. The 19-year-old number eight has capped off a breakout season with this contract extension.
Morse, who hails from Wales, returned from representing his country at the Junior World Cup last summer, where the Wales Under-20s team finished in sixth place. Upon his return, Morse went on to make his Ospreys debut and has since made 10 appearances for the senior squad.
During the course of the season, Morse has showcased his talent, scoring match-winning tries in the New Year’s Day victory over Cardiff and against the Lions at Ellis Park. His most recent highlight was a stunning solo try that he scored in monsoon conditions against Cardiff.
