Departure of Forwards Coaches Announced at Dragons Rugby Union Franchise
In a significant move for the Dragons rugby union franchise, the club has announced that Mefin Davies and Luke Narraway will be departing their roles as forwards coaches at the end of the 2023-24 season.
Former Wales hooker Davies has been a part of the Rodney Parade setup since 2020, while ex-England back row Narraway joined the coaching staff in 2019, with both appointments made under the previous Dragons boss, Dean Ryan.
“They have worked tirelessly with our forwards to help us improve year on year and both leave with our very best wishes for the next chapter of their respective coaching careers,” said current head coach Dai Flanagan.
The Dragons’ 2022-23 season will conclude on Saturday, 1 June, with a highly anticipated ‘Judgement Day’ clash against the Scarlets at Cardiff City Stadium.
