Promising Hooker Oli Burrows Joins the Dragons from Exeter Chiefs
Significant Signing for the Welsh Regional Club
The Dragons have secured the signing of hooker Oli Burrows from Exeter Chiefs. Burrows, a former Wales Under-20s international, joined the Premiership club in 2020 and made his senior debut for the Chiefs in the Premiership Cup against Bristol Bears the following year.
“Oli is a big man and has a lot of potential. It’s great we can bring someone like him back home to Wales, he is an ambitious player who will look to drive competition in the front row.”
- Dai Flanagan, Dragons Head Coach
The 21-year-old has now returned to Wales, with the Dragons head coach, Dai Flanagan, expressing his excitement about the young player’s potential. Burrows’ stint at Cornish Pirates has also added to his experience, as he looks to make his mark on the Welsh regional side.
The Dragons’ acquisition of the promising hooker is seen as a strategic move to bolster their front-row options and provide healthy competition within the squad.
