Leinster Dominates Ospreys with Six-Try Victory
In a commanding display, Leinster cruised to a convincing victory over Ospreys, securing a six-try triumph at their home ground. The second half proved to be a completely different affair, as Leinster’s attacking prowess overwhelmed their opponents.
Less than a minute after the restart, Leinster registered their fourth try of the match. Robbie Henshaw and Jimmy O’Brien combined well, setting up South African lock Jason Jenkins to cross the line, signaling the opening of the floodgates.
Henshaw was instrumental once more in Leinster’s fifth try, with his carry and pass enabling Larmour to dot down in the corner for his second score, after Ospreys’ Dan Edwards had fumbled a kick.
As Leinster’s bench strength became evident, the home side added four more tries in the final 11 minutes. Impressive replacement Tommy O’Brien’s charge forward created a try for Jamie Osborne, and another substitute, Charlie Ngatai, also got in on the action.
Larmour then completed his hat-trick with four minutes remaining, and Tommy O’Brien capped off the victory with a try of his own in the final minute, rounding off another dominant performance from Leinster.
“Leinster’s attacking prowess overwhelmed their opponents.”
