Ospreys Announce Departing Players Ahead of Final Home Match
As the conclusion of the rugby union season approaches, the Ospreys have announced the list of players who will be departing the club. Wings Toby Fricker and Mat Protheroe, flanker Will Hickey, and scrum-half Cam Jones have all been included among the released players.
The Ospreys’ final home match of the season will be a United Rugby Championship (URC) derby against the Dragons on Saturday, 18 May. Ahead of this fixture, Ospreys head coach Toby Booth acknowledged the difficulty of this time of year, stating, “This part of the season is always a tough time, especially when you have to say goodbye to players that have given a lot to the club over the years.”
