Rugby Union News: U20 Teams to Compete in Transatlantic Quad Series
The highly anticipated Transatlantic Quad Series featuring the Under-20 national rugby union teams from the USA, Canada, England, and Wales is set to commence on July 14th. This tournament will follow the conclusion of the Women’s Under-20s Six Nations, which kicks off in Parma, Italy on July 4th.
According to Wales U20 head coach Gareth Wyatt, this tournament will prove to be a tough and demanding challenge for the players, testing their resilience. However, the coaching staff is excited about the opportunity to learn more about the players and witness the progression of those transitioning from the Under-18 level.
The Transatlantic Quad Series will feature the following fixtures:
- Sunday, July 14th: USA U20s vs. Canada U20s at Cardiff Met University (5:30 pm BST)
- Friday, July 19th: England U20s vs. Canada U20s at Cardiff Arms Park (5:30 pm BST)
- Friday, July 19th: Wales U20s vs. USA U20s at Cardiff Arms Park (7:30 pm BST)
- Wednesday, July 24th: England U20s vs. USA U20s at Cardiff Arms Park (5:30 pm BST)
- Wednesday, July 24th: Wales U20s vs. Canada U20s at Cardiff Arms Park (7:30 pm BST)
