Wales Prepare for Exciting Challenge Against France in Tournament Opener
As Wales gears up to face France in their opening match of the prestigious rugby union tournament, head coach Liza Burgess expressed her anticipation for the challenge ahead.
“We know France will prove to be an exciting challenge for us and we are all looking forward to it,” said Burgess. “The teams are all at very different stages in their development, and this competition is a great way to measure where we are.”
Burgess emphasized that the focus will be solely on the Welsh team’s performance.
“This tournament is all about us and what we do, and we will know where we stand after this opening game.”
Following the clash with France on July 7th, Wales will take on England on July 9th (20:00 BST) and then host Italy on July 14th (17:30 BST).
