Fans can mark their calendars for the upcoming slate of warm-up matches, as the teams look to fine-tune their skills and strategies ahead of the URC season opener on Friday, 20 September.
Pre-Season Fixtures
On Saturday, 31 August, Carmarthen Quins will host Scarlets, while the Dragons take on Hartpury University. Ealing Trailfinders will welcome Cardiff, and the Ospreys will face off against Aberavon, Swansea, and Bridgend.
The action continues on Friday, 6 September, with Cardiff visiting Bath and the Dragons traveling to face Bristol. The following day, Saturday, 7 September, will see Scarlets take on Leicester and the Ospreys square off against Exeter Chiefs.
The pre-season slate concludes on Friday, 13 September, with Saracens hosting Scarlets and Bath welcoming the Dragons.
As the Welsh clubs gear up for the 2024-25 URC season, these pre-season fixtures will provide valuable opportunities for the teams to assess their strengths, address any weaknesses, and build momentum ahead of the highly anticipated campaign.
“These pre-season matches are crucial for our teams to prepare for the upcoming season,” said a spokesperson for the Welsh Rugby Union. “The players and coaching staff are eager to get back on the pitch and put in the hard work needed to compete at the highest level.”
