KONDA Research has been conducting a series of political and social surveys under the name BAROMETRE every month since 2010. In addition to the standard questions on demographic characteristics, political preferences and economic expectations that we regularly ask in each BAROMETRE survey, we also ask questions about the public's perspective on the issues that are on the public agenda at the time and to measure their perceptions and expectations in different areas. The research, which is the basis of this report, the 163nd in the Barometer research series, was conducted on April 12-13, 2025 by face-to-face interviews with 1809 people in their households in 116 neighborhoods and villages of 78 districts, including the central districts of 28 provinces.
In this month's research, we examined the participation in the shopping boycott organized by the opposition and those who participated in the protests following the arrest of Ekrem İmamoğlu, the Mayor of IBB, and the Saraçhane Protests that started afterwards.
