The report, prepared under the theme of “Working life” comprehensively examines individuals' relationship with their working lives by evaluating their professional backgrounds, current working conditions, social security, income forms, perceptions of job security, and work experiences during the pandemic. The goal is to analyze the visible and invisible dimensions of employment in Turkey, precarious work practices, and individuals' positions in the labor market within a multidimensional framework. The report also examines satisfaction with pandemic measures and pandemic-related behaviors. Political preferences and the morale index constitute other sections of the report.
KONDA Research has been conducting a series of political and social surveys under the name BAROMETER on a monthly basis since 2010. In addition to the standard questions we regularly ask in each BAROMETER survey regarding demographic characteristics, political preferences, and economic expectations, questions are also asked to gauge the public's view on issues currently on the public agenda and to measure perceptions and expectations in different areas. The research underlying the 124th report in the Barometer research series was conducted on October 9-10, 2021, through face-to-face interviews with 3,710 people in their homes in 181 neighborhoods and villages in 11 districts, including the centers of 33 provinces.
