In this month's research, we examined society's spending habits. We examined how household spending is distributed, as well as new patterns of consumption. This allowed us to examine the psychology of consumption through the prevalence and trends of different spending patterns.
KONDA Research has been conducting a series of political and social surveys under the banner of BAROMETER every month since 2010. In addition to the standard questions we regularly ask about demographic characteristics, political preferences, and economic expectations in each BAROMETER survey, we also ask questions to gauge society's perspective on current public issues and their perceptions and expectations in various areas. The research, which forms the basis of this report, the 166th Barometer survey series, was conducted on September 13-14, 2025, through face-to-face interviews with 2,057 people in their homes in 113 neighborhoods and villages across 77 districts, including the city center, of 28 provinces.
