In this month’s study, we examined the issue of freedom of expression in the media, including the recent debates over identity verification requirements for accessing social media platforms. Since 2010, KONDA Research has been conducting a series of political and social surveys every month under the name BAROMETER. In addition to standard questions on demographic characteristics, political preferences, and economic expectations, each BAROMETER survey also includes questions aimed at measuring public opinion on current issues and their perceptions and expectations in various fields. The research that forms the basis of this 174th report in the Barometer series was conducted on March 7-8, 2026, through face-to-face interviews with 1995 people in their homes across 116 neighborhoods and villages in 68 districts, including the centers, of 25 provinces.
