Since 2010, KONDA Research has regularly conducted a series of political and social surveys under the title "BAROMETER." In addition to the standard questions regarding demographic characteristics, political preferences, and economic expectations asked in every BAROMETER survey, questions are also included to gauge public opinion on current agenda topics and to measure perceptions and expectations across various areas. The survey forming the basis of this report—the 177th in the Barometer series—was conducted on July 11–12, 2026, through face-to-face interviews with 1,895 individuals in their homes across 113 neighborhoods and villages in 77 districts (including city centers) spanning 25 provinces.
