SUMMARY

The section tracks the monthly change trends in society's crisis expectations, people's expectations of economic difficulties in their own lives, and their ability to make ends meet:

• Were you able to make ends meet last month?
• Do you expect an economic crisis in Turkey in the next 3 months?
• Do you expect an economic difficulty in your own life in the next 3 months?

This month, despite the slight improvement in general public's ability to make ends meet, we observe that the expectation of an economic crisis has increased by 2 points. Indicators such as the Consumer Confidence Index align with our economic crisis expectation measurements, confirming the existence of a pessimistic outlook. While only 1 in 5 people state they can maintain their livelihood comfortably, half of society states they are barely making ends meet. As the expectation of an economic crisis rises by two points across society, AK Party and MHP voters are diverging from the rest on this metric.
