In December, inflation expectations for the next 12 months remained generally at the same level as the previous month. However, expectations diverged among different social groups; expectations declined among retirees, older age groups, and those who do not use social media, while an increase was observed among Recep Tayyip Erdoğan voters. Additionally, factors such as purchasing National Lottery tickets, online shopping during November sales, and satisfaction with living conditions were also found to be related to inflation expectations.
