SUMMARY

In January, inflation expectations for the next 12 months fell by 3 points compared to the previous month. However, the direction of expectations varies across different social groups. People living in rural areas maintain higher inflation expectations, while a decline is observed among voters of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Additionally, factors such as purchasing a National Lottery ticket and boycotting a brand for any political reason are also associated with inflation expectations.
