Although the majority of society still believes that İmamoğlu is being unlawfully held in prison, the gap has narrowed. The most striking finding is that those who believe İmamoğlu is being held unlawfully but are waiting for alternative candidates to run outnumber those who have turned to alternatives because they believe he actually committed a crime. In other words, opponents are now seeking realistic scenarios rather than adopting an anti-İmamoğlu stance.
