SUMMARY

In June, inflation expectations for the next 12 months were measured at 89 percent, down 4 points from the previous month. While this decline was particularly pronounced among those who describe their lifestyle as “Modern” students, and white-collar workers, inflation expectations also fell by 10 points among voters who stated they would vote for Ekrem İmamoğlu. The findings also reveal that economic and subjective well-being indicators such as the ability to afford a sacrificial animal, take a vacation, and maintain psychological well-being are closely linked to inflation expectations.
