SUMMARY

In this section, Assist. Prof. Dr. Aytuğ Şaşmaz examines the relationship between religiosity and secularism and regime preferences in Turkey. Almost all questions asked in Barometer 145 are included in the analysis. It is also analyzed in more detail with a few judgments:

• When making an important decision in my daily life, I consult a religious leader or religious sources.
• Science and logic guide my important decisions in life.
• The social, economic, political and legal order of the state should be completely independent of religious rules.
