People living in Turkey get angry mostly due to family situations, followed by financial problems. These are followed by work-related issues and other reasons. Women get angry more at family issues, whereas men get angry at financial problems and workplace situations. At the same time, men experience anger more frequently than women. As the income level increases, the proportion of those getting angry at work-related issues rises; as it decreases, the proportion of those getting angry at family issues increases. Furthermore, advancing age reduces the frequency of anger. Among groups categorized by employment status, students experience anger the most, and retirees the least. On the other hand, retirees are the ones who get angry the most at political conditions. There is also a positive relationship between the ability to make ends meet and the frequency of experiencing anger. The situation that triggers society's anger the most is injustice, followed by financial problems and family situations. When asked about their two reactions to anger, those who state they cry are predominantly women, while those who state they react physically are predominantly men
