SUMMARY

The section analyzes the state of education in Turkey by comparing the data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) in light of the public and politicians' reaction to the new education model announced by the Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin called “Turkey's Century Education Model”. In addition to analyzing the level of education, the types of high schools and universities graduated from and the jobs held by individuals are also analyzed:

  • Education status (most recently completed school)
  • What is the type of high school you graduated from?
  • What is the type of university you graduated from?
  • What is your profession or specialization that you have been trained in or learned by trade?
