The aim is to analyze both the visible and invisible dimensions of employment in Turkey, precarious work practices, and individuals’ positions in the labor market within a multidimensional framework:

  • What is your profession or area of expertise, either through formal education or practical experience?
  • What exactly do you do for a living at the moment? Regardless of your profession, what work do you do to earn income?
  • Are you currently looking for a job, additional work, or part-time work? If yes, for how long have you been searching?
  • Which of the following best describes your current employment status?
  • Have you ever worked in any job so far?
  • How many people work at your workplace?
  • If you personally have social security coverage related to health and retirement, which of the following applies to you?
  • Are social security insurance premiums paid on your behalf?
  • If you are working in an uninsured job, could you please state the reason?
  • On average, how many hours do you work per week?
  • How is the payment/salary/wage you receive for your work paid?
  • What are the two most important factors for you in a job?
  • If you were to lose your job, how likely do you think it is that you would find a new one?
  • What was your employment status before the pandemic, that is, before March 2020?
