The section presents the May 25 results of the KONDA Inflation Expectations Survey:

• Between May 2024 and this May, in other words, how many percent do you think prices have increased on average in the past year?
• Between May 2025 and May 2026, in other words, how many percent do you think prices will have increased in the next 12 months?
• Between January and December, in other words, how many percent do you think prices will have increased in the beginning to the end of 2025?
• Inflation expectations by age groups,
• Inflation expectations by household income,
• Inflation expectations of Erdoğan and İmamoğlu voters,
• The relationship between thoughts about getting married and having children and inflation expectations,
• The view of the government and undecided voters on the Kanal İstanbul project.

As of May 2025, while a general decline is observed in inflation perception and expectations, the gap in inflation expectations between Erdoğan and İmamoğlu voters has decreased by 5 points compared to the previous month, dropping to 35 points. However, the rise in inflation expectations among older age groups and individuals with low household incomes is noteworthy. Furthermore, the differences of opinion regarding the necessity of Canal Istanbul are also reflected in inflation expectations.
