SUMMARY

The public's 12-month inflation perception, which averaged 106 percent in July, rose to 108 percent by September. Similarly, 12-month ahead inflation expectations, which stood at 99 percent in July, rose by 7 percentage points to 106 percent by September.

The inflation expectations of those who indicated they would vote for Erdoğan increased by 8 percentage points compared to July. Those who follow current events on Twitter have higher inflation expectations than others. Furthermore, a significant correlation is observed between spending on certain expenditure items and the inflation expectations of CHP voters in particular.
