Across Türkiye, electricity and natural gas bills alone account for approximately one-tenth of household income. Compared to last winter, the share of natural gas has risen even further. In large cities and metropolises, the cost of energy bills and house rents necessitates allocating a significant portion of income solely to these basic needs.
