SUMMARY

The tendency to go on vacation is gradually declining in Turkish society. Even among groups such as white-collar workers who are more accustomed to taking vacations the frequency of vacations is becoming less common. What is particularly striking is that while the high-income bracket is unaffected by this pattern and continues to take vacations more frequently, the opposite trend is observed in the low-income bracket.
