In this month’s study, we focused on two thematic topics. First, we examined TV series viewing preferences in Turkey. Building on this theme, which we have covered in previous studies, we this time analyzed not only viewer profiles but also viewing experiences and consumption trends. Our second topic was Ramadan practices. We examined how society spends the month of Ramadan across various dimensions, from individuals’ religious practices to the redesign of daily life rhythms according to suhoor and iftar times.
KONDA Research has been conducting a series of political and social surveys called BAROMETER every month since 2010. In addition to the standard questions we regularly ask in each BAROMETER survey about demographic characteristics, political preferences, and economic expectations, we also ask questions to gauge the public's view on issues currently on the public agenda and to measure perceptions and expectations in different areas. The research underlying the 172nd report in the Barometer research series was conducted through face-to-face interviews with 1958 people in their homes in 118 neighborhoods and villages in 80 districts, including the centers of 28 provinces, on February 7-8, 2026.
