SUMMARY

The section examines the fasting practices of those interviewed for the April '25 Barometer survey during Ramadan:

  • How many days did you fast during Ramadan?

The practice of fasting during Ramadan is one of the most unchanging practices in society. While 22 percent of the population declared that they never fasted during this month of Ramadan, this rate was 23 percent in 2012. In the practice of fasting, AK Party and CHP voters constitute the two extreme ends, whereas Ekrem İmamoğlu voters are closer to the Turkey average compared to CHP voters.
