SUMMARY

Participants’ retrospective inflation perceptions over the past 12 months were at an average of 108 percent in September and declined to 92 percent in October. This month, a 2 point increase has been observed in retrospective perceptions. Expectations for inflation over the next 12 months had fallen to 99 percent last month, and this decline continued in November, with a further 12 point drop, reaching 87 percent

In November, expectations for inflation 12 months ahead continued to decline compared to the previous month. This decrease is particularly pronounced among İmamoğlu and CHP voters, as well as among groups who define themselves as “Modern.” In addition, individual and household factors such as stress levels, health status, the presence of household members in need of care, and borrowing conditions appear to be associated with inflation expectations.
